His influences include Derek Jarman, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Gregg Araki, James Bidgood, Anna Biller, Natalie Wynn - artists who made $5 look like 5K, with blood, sweat, and rose petals. In his spare time, Ramsey makes gothic pop music inspired by the themes of his films. He’s from the Bay Area and lives in Los Angeles.
